Cloud Intelligence is a consortium of senior architects who specialize in distributed systems, semantic modeling, and enterprise integration — the kind of problems that don't have simple answers.
Most enterprise challenges are multi-dimensional. They require concurrent application of multiple advanced techniques — not a single tool or framework.
Coordinating state, consistency, and reliability across cloud-native architectures with no single point of control.
Low-latency data exchange across heterogeneous systems where timing and ordering are non-negotiable.
Integrating across proprietary APIs, legacy formats, and platform-specific schemas where no two vendors agree on anything.
Extracting meaning from data that only becomes useful when correlated across domains, systems, and time.
Encoding business expertise into systems that can reason, infer, and adapt — not just store and retrieve.
Identifying patterns, anomalies, and categories across noisy data at scale with actionable confidence.
Breaking monolithic problems into bounded, composable units that can be solved independently and recombined.
We combine these advanced methods into robust architectures that deliver agility, reliability, and scalability — concurrently.
"There's no inherent meaning in information — it's what we do with the information that matters."
— Beau LottoComplex enterprises need solutions geared toward maintainability — not elegance or perfection, but sufficiency. Production-ready systems that meet functional and non-functional requirements without creating a maintenance burden. Our engineers have managed this balance across many projects.
Cloud integration remains difficult because few standards exist. Most SaaS vendors offer proprietary solutions with format, semantic, and API hurdles. Building reusable, maintainable integration layers requires hard-won experience. It's what we do.
Most organizations aren't equipped for modular, service-based environments. The application infrastructure is abstract, confusing, and difficult to assemble. An architecture readiness assessment can be the key to success — our engineers provide that guidance.
Reusability and interoperability don't come for free. They require considering usage beyond current scope without increasing it — leaving designs open for extension. This is a fine line to walk, and our team builds these qualities into every implementation.
Regulations change often, and poor implementations become maintenance nightmares. Lack of data security carries costly implications. Extreme care is required when building solutions with these requirements — and that level of care is standard practice for our staff.
Information without semantics is just data. Where data comes from and how it's used drives what it means. Semantic representations allow applications to locate and use information in meaningful ways, avoiding the brittleness of static data. This is extremely intricate work.
Selective solutions lead to higher long-term costs and less flexibility. An enterprise perspective demands breadth of view and familiarity with many different business models. Our expertise spans over a dozen market verticals.
Distributed architectures have many moving parts. Without a governance model, they degrade over time and become formidable to maintain. We are deeply versed in managing loosely-coupled, component-based systems over their full lifecycle.
Consulting services spanning the full lifecycle — from strategic assessment through implementation and training.
Our consulting experience is the foundation for a new generation of enterprise AI tooling.
Cloud Intelligence is a consortium of senior architects and developers who specialize in enterprise solutions. Every member has a minimum of 15 years of industry experience — many exceed 25 years. In the same way that data and processing are distributed in the cloud, our organization is distributed and doesn't operate as a classical hierarchical monolith.
Founded in 2009 and based in Colorado, we create tools and enabling technology offered as cloud-based services, with select tooling supported in the open source community.
Robin is an Enterprise Architect with a deep background in enterprise integration, application security, systems programming and knowledge representation. He has been a software professional since 1983 and in that time, has developed mission critical applications, software tools and enabling technology. His formal education is in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Leading large R&D projects to spearhead technology adoption has been a mainstay in his career. As Chief Architect at his two most recent employers, he was responsible for their technology vision, development processes and application platforms. His research covers many enterprise components and associated standards, enterprise integration, cloud environments, distributed computing and concept models.
Whether it's a system that needs to be modernized, an integration that won't cooperate, or an architecture that needs a second opinion — we've been there.
